After becoming a part of global travel, co-work and co-living company, Selina, Remote Year came to us for a brand that would reflect their position as the world’s leading remote work brand. One that makes it possible to travel the world while taking your work with you, for 1 month all the way up to a year. All while joining a global community, making connections not just to new places, but to new people, too.
The brand created brings that sense of connection to the fore – a ligature-style logo nods to the concept, with brand copy whose focus is not just travel, but community-based travel. While the visual identity is built with simplicity and flexibility – to work coherently across multiple formats.
GT Alpina creates a unique character, with legibility. And a simplified core colour palette of black and white gives a strong, classic appearance (again with maximum legibility), essential for a brand that lives in the digital space. A suite of 36 icons injects a sense of playfulness into the brand. While photography focuses on people, culture and experiences, rather than the tourist landscapes and cliches that tend to dominate the sector.
